Stacy Surla

UX Lead, ICF

Stacy Merrill Surla manages the User Experience team for the Insights and Design division at ICF. She’s an old-school IA practitioner, grounded by a consulting background in IT, research, and evaluation. As a twice-elected officer, Stacy participated in building the IA Institute’s infrastructure and community of practice program. She’s an adjunct professor at Kent State University where she teaches Researching the User Experience, and she serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Information Architecture. She’s made numerous public speaking, TV, and radio appearances on user experience and technical topics. And she started a neighborhood circus.
