Mark is a Senior User Experience Specialist at UserWorks, where he leads projects involving usability evaluation and remediation, user experience design, information architecture, task analyses, and accessibility. His work has spanned a wide range of applications, not only websites and web applications, but also the use of mobile devices, voting systems, biometrics systems, a voice interactive response system, medical devices (e.g., wound pumps and blood glucose monitors), and a head-mounted display used for augmented reality. He has worked with clients in both private and government sectors, such as the United States Postal Service, the Department of Education, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Department of Veterans Affairs, medical device manufacturers, and a major credit card company). He has a master’s degree in human factors psychology from George Mason University.
