Emily is an anthropologist currently working in international development. She first applied human-centered design while conducting ethnographic research on mobile technology in Tanzania. Now as a program coordinator at The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR), Emily brings a human-centered approach to project design, monitoring and evaluation, and field research. She is also co-leader and community manager of the OpenIDEO DC Chapter.
